Chocolate Brown Hair Style

Chocolate brown hair can be worn in any style, but there are a few styles that show off the color better. A simple high-set ponytail is one of the better casual means of wearing chocolate brown hair. This allows for minor contrast between the color at the ends of the hair, with the fresher brown color closer to the roots.

If you’re the kind of person who adores a layered look then one of the best styles for dark brown hair is the bob. Despite the origin of the concept, you do not actually have to have short hair to pull this look off. In fact, an individual with longer hair and enough creativity can style their hair into a many layered bob that is perfect for highlighting.

The bob is also a good choice for a hair style because of how much it can be changed to suit the personality of the individual. Lighter shades of brown on the sides and top, with the deep rich and darker chocolate brown underneath looks simply stunning. Alternatively, changing the style slightly to give yourself sharp edges to the sides will also allow for a shimmery look that dazzles the eye. Ultimately, the bob is quite powerful regarding the capacity to individualize your look.

Highlights:

Chocolate brown hair is easy to highlight if the lighter tones are used. Red, copper, and lighter brown shades work well as highlights for chocolate brown hair. Some individuals swear by ash-blond highlights. This color style can work well for many people as well. However, be careful when going toward the blond end of the scale. While red highlights can work well for chocolate brown hair, going blond may lead to ginger colored hair due to the amount of red most brunettes naturally have in their hair.

Accentuation:

Clothing is an important part of the perception of hair color. It has been noted that the different colors that the human eye perceives when viewing clothes can also effect how hair colors are perceived. This works for other aspects of visual acuity as well, however that is outside of the scope of this article. The important thing to remember is that darker clothes make chocolate brown hair look amazing. This is especially true if the hair is long enough to reach the shoulders.
